Following the 2013 consultation on changes to the UK Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) system, we began implementing the new WEEEsystem. This included a collection target and a compliance fee that Producer Compliance Schemes (PCSs) may choose to pay if they fail to achieve their target.
