Launch: Offshore Safety Directive Regulator (OSDR)

The Offshore Safety Directive Regulator is the Competent Authority responsible for overseeing industry compliance with the EU Directive on the safety of offshore oil and gas operations. The Directive was published following the Deepwater Horizon accident in the Gulf of Mexico.

The Directive is also resulting in changes to the UK health, safety and environmental regime.
